Terms & Conditions

Bookings & Payment

  • Full payment is required to secure your booking.
  • Two night minimum stays apply.
  • We accept all major credit cards (excluding American Express).
  • All rates are inclusive of GST and confirmed at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • 21 days’ notice or more: A full refund will be issued (less a $50 cancellation fee).
  • Less than 21 days’ notice: No refund will be issued.
  • Date transfers: Bookings may be transferred with at least 10 days’ notice.
  • No refunds are given for no-shows.
  • We strongly recommend guests take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in is from 2:30 pm onwards. Early check-in may be arranged by prior appointment.
  • Check-out is strictly by 10:30 am. A late check-out may be available at an additional cost and must be arranged in advance.
  • Valid photo identification (e.g., driver’s licence) and a credit card are required upon check-in for verification and security purposes.

Guest Policy

  • Maleny Luxury Cottages is designed exclusively for couples. Children and pets are not permitted.
  • Our guests appreciate a smoke free environment. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises nor inside the cottages.

Property Use & Liability

  • Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused during their stay.
  • Recreational activities and exploring the property are undertaken at your own risk.
  • A $200 Pre-Authorisation security bond is required upon arrival
  • Firewood is supplied for log fires during the winter season (1st May to 30th September).
